The Sudbury Regional Hospital Foundation has raised funds for local healthcare initiatives for three decades. Governed by a Board of Directors made up of a cross-section of our community, the Sudbury Regional Hospital Foundation is the fundraising partner of the HRSRH. A separate entity from the Hospital, the Sudbury Regional Hospital Foundation’s mandate is to operate exclusively as a non-profit, charitable foundation to raise funds for medical equipment and capital construction.
When you donate to the Sudbury Regional Hospital Foundation you can be assured that your money will go directly to buy patient care equipment or fund capital construction our regional hospital. In the 2008/2009 fiscal year, the Foundation was able to fund $1,469,975.39 of equipment purchases and capital construction . This included over $1 million in equipment purchases across many of our regional hospital's programs including: the Children's Treatment Centre, the Emergency Department, Nephrology, Cardiovascular (heart), and Critical Care. None of this would have been possible without our many generous donors, supportors, and volunteers.
